Many people either were instrumental in the founding of the observatory, or were prominent contributors to the operation and research accomplished there.  

Historical photos of the observatory prior to 1995

Photos taken of the exteriors and interiors of the Towers and McGregor Building by various tourists or members of the MHAS. 

A number of videos were taken during the construction of the towers and showing the operation of various instruments and machining equipment.
